
Our Story
Jonathan Island Oyster Company was established in 2014 by Ben and Diane Franford. Since then, they have been cultivating clean delicious oysters in their self-sustaining farm while maintaining a positive environmental impact on the ecosystem by using renewable energy.
Ben and Diane owned a dental laboratory for over 30 years before starting Jonathan Island Oyster Company. That is how their unique oysters get the name - “Pearly Whites”!
